Like all the places on earth, there is always a good and a bad time to visit Padar Island as well. Though it is open to tourists all year round, it is advisable to avoid the monsoon months between mid January to mid March. Tours are known to have last minute cancellations based on the weather conditions, and camping is completely out of question during these months.
On the other hand April to June and September to November are the best months to travel. Not only will one find wildlife and marine life in abundance, the trees and grasslands are also fresh and green at the end of the monsoons. The sea barring full moon days tends to be calm and serene, making the whole experience out of this world.
